It’s been an exciting few months for the Holocard Cantina team. Since incorporating as Games of the Galaxy earlier this year, we’ve been levelling up both the app and the community, working toward our vision of a vibrant, app-based home for Sabacc fans.
NEW APP UPDATE: VERSION 10
You won't see many obvious new features in V. 10, but there's been a big overhaul under the hood.
Table events have been moved server-side to increase stability, reduce glitches and reduce delays caused by player time-outs. These quality of life enhancements clear the way for more exciting upcoming features like new game modes!

1000+ MEMBERS
In December, we passed 1,000 members in our Discord community! We're thrilled about the buzz the app is generating, and welcome everyone to the Sabacc community.
A special thank you goes to Ian Bowling, whose Sabacc explainer reel on Instagram really took off and helped spread the word about the app.
2025 has been fantastic for us, and we’re just getting started as we look ahead to 2026!
SUPPORTING SABACC 4 CHARITY
We're delighted to announce that in 2026 we are partnering with Sabacc for Charity to support the 2026 Sabacc Charity World Tournament through the Holocards App.
Online participation is organised through the official S4C online cantina, Nerdiest Stepdad's Star Tavern. Follow the links below to find out how you can take part and raise some money for great causes while indulging your passion for Sabacc!
GAMES OF THE GALAXY HOLODEX
Development continues on the Games of the Galaxy Holodex and gametesting server, where we’re building a living archive of in-universe card, dice, and board games — complete with rules, illustrations, and supporting documents.
We recently updated the Dice Games section of the Holodex with 16 new games including Bakuto, Hodrudda, Tregald and Vigo's Favor!
Can you Help Support the Holocard Cantina?
In 2026 we have a Fundraising Goal of €745 to cover the development and maintenance costs of the Holocard Cantina App & the Games of the Galaxy team. We have monthly costs of around €60 which maintain our Firebase database and pay for webhosting, social media tools and regulatory fees.
