Find Out How You Support the Holocard Cantina App & Community

Games of the Galaxy and the Holocard Cantina App is a fan project, built by enthusiasts in their spare time. Everyone on the team contributes what they can, when they can — and that's exactly the spirit we're looking for.

If you have relevant skills and a love for the project, we'd like to hear from you. All roles are voluntary — this is a passion project and always has been. Contribute what you can.

COMMUNITY TEAM

MODERATOR/MARSHAL

Marshals keep our spaces welcoming — acting as moderators in the Holocard Cantina App, the Discord server and Facebook group, supporting members, and making sure everyone from veteran players to curious newcomers feels at home.

If you're a regular in the community who enjoys helping people and keeping things running smoothly, this might be the role for you. Moderation experience is handy but not essential. The right temperament matters more.

COMMUNITY REPS

Community Reps organise events — tournaments, lunch clubs, community nights, charity play sessions — and liaise with partners and other fan groups on behalf of the project. It's a connector role: keeping the community active and making sure we're showing up in the right places.

If you enjoy event organisation, outreach, and have a feel for social media, tell us what combination works for you.

Spotlight:

We're particularly interested in:

• Individuals who are keen to organise EU- and EMEA-region based clubs and events. If you're an active EU/EMEA player base this is a chance to help foster and grow the community in your timezone.

• Individuals who can organise and compere social media streaming and video for events.

SOCIAL MEDIA CREATORS

We're looking for someone to help grow the project's presence across social platforms — posts, live-streams, short-form video, graphics, whatever works.

WEBSITE DESIGNER

The website is currently built on Wix. We know there's a better version of it — one that's dynamic, Firebase-integrated, and built to grow with the project. If you're someone who can see what that looks like and has the skills to make it happen, let us know!

CONTENT EDITORS

From Holodex rules entries and lore articles to blog posts and in-app copy, there's always something that needs writing, editing, or polishing. This role covers all of it — helping keep the written output of the project clear, consistent, and on-voice across the website, blog, and app.

Suited to someone with strong writing and editing skills and a familiarity with Star Wars games lore — ideally someone who already knows their Corellian Spike from their Classic Sabacc.

APPLYING: Open to expressions of interest from potential Content Editors. Content editors would be working closely with the Creative Director and should be comfortable with learning the Holodex format and style, and accepting edits and corrections. PROGRAMMER

The Holocard Cantina app is built in Flutter. We're looking for developers who are comfortable with Dart and Flutter — whether that's UI work, game logic, backend integration, or new features.

Any amount of Flutter experience is welcome. If you've shipped an app or contributed to one, even better. Help us as much or as little as your schedule allows.

SOCIAL MEDIA, GRAPHIC DESIGN & MOTION GRAPHICS

We need someone who can create visual content for social media and in-app use — static graphics, motion graphics, short animations or animatics. The aesthetic is Star Wars: cantina tables, card rooms, the visual texture of the Outer Rim.

3D MODELLING & ANIMATION

We're building out the visual world of the Holocard Cantina app — Sabacc tables, cantina environments, droid characters, trade goods and more. If you can model assets for real-time use, we'd love your help.
