RULES FOR HAZARD TOSS

Hazard Toss is a high stakes dice game played against other players. It is designed to be played for a suggested number of 2-8 players. However, there is no maximum and it can be played by any number above 2.
SETUP

1. Dice
Each player has a set of 2 Hazard Dice, one Gold Dice and one Silver Dice.

The dice have a hole or void through them and are hollow inside, though two blank sides will also work. The empty sides are referred to as Voids.

Typical Hazard Dice are marked with the following Corellian numeral symbols with the following values:

An optional additional component is a Dice Cup for rolling the dice.
2. Chips

Each player also has a set of betting chips in 3 values, Bronze, Silver and Gold. On Canto Bight, where we see Hazard Toss being played, these chips are known as Canto Coins and increase in size so that they 'nest' on top of one another. The colour value of the chips is important to play in Hazard Toss.

3. Prize Pot

Players will use their chips to ante and raise into the main prize pot.

4. Player Hand/Hazard Pots

Each player has a hand pot area in front of their position at the table.
GAMEPLAY

1. Ante
To begin play, all players ante a single bronze chip into the Prize Pot.
2. Toss

The first player casts the Gold and Silver dice and tallies the results according to the table below. There are three possible results: Bust, Void or Hazard.

Bust - Any matching pair of symbols (Double Bust) or voids (Void Bust).

Void - Any pair of symbols that includes a Void result.

Hazard - Any other pairing of symbols.
3. Tally
With a Void result, the player must pay a single Bronze chip from his Chip Stock into his Hand Pot for a Silver Void result, and two Bronze chips for a Golden Void result.

With a Hazard result, the player must place chips from the stock into their Hand Pot. The difference between the two values on the dice determines the number of chips they must place in the pot. Whichever dice (gold or silver) shows the highest value determines the value of chip (Gold or Silver) they must place in their Hand Pot.

Chips in a player's Hand Pot are considered 'In Hazard'.

If the result is a Bust, that player is out of the game. They move all the chips that have accumulated in their Hand Pot into the Prize Pot.

WINNING THE GAME

Play proceeds around the table in clockwise fashion, with each player rolling the dice and tallying the outcome.
When the second to last player busts, the last player has the opportunity to win everything in the Prize Pot.

The last player makes a final roll. If the last player does not Bust, they win the entire sum in the Prize Pot. If instead he rolls a Bust, the House takes the pot.
